I have always had an interest in watercolour painting. I took classes with Helmut Gerth for several years when I was in my twenties, but set it aside eventually due to work and family demands. Happily, I was able to pick it up again when I retired, and have been taking classes with Donna McGee since 2019. I have learned a lot from her, and feel that I’ve made a lot of progress.

I especially enjoy doing landscapes, and I have also recently developed an appreciation for abstract pieces. Being in Donna’s class – as well as a member of the artists’ circle – has been a great experience, and has given me the opportunity to meet not only some good artists, but also some great new friends.
