I am a long-time resident of the West Island. I am a watercolourist who enjoys painting bold and colourful florals and landscapes. Being outside in nature is imspiring as nature is never timid. Walking in the woods or by the water, looking at all of Mother Nature's grandeur, hearing the sounds of nature is awe-inspiring to me. I feel very humbled by her natural beauty, sunsets, fog lifting long shadows, the colours reflecting in a puddle after a rainstorm.

It is the essence of "sight poetry" that I try to capture by using transparency, wet into wet, and bold contrasts. I have been painting watercolour for some time, but recent workshops have given me the incentive to work with acrylic inks and different papers using these textures to see a different perspective.
