Alvin Bomediano

BormeanoAlvin__ portrait.JPG

Alvin Bomediano has been living in Montreal since 2004. Originally from Calgary, Alberta where he graduated with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the University of Calgary where he specialized in drawing, painting, sculpture and art-history. He then went straight into the corporate world first as a graphic designer, then later as an IT analyst, while art was relegated to a weekend hobby. After experiencing life’s twist and turns, ups and downs he has come full circle and is making a concerted effort to dedicate more time towards fine arts.

He works mainly with acrylics and mix media and enjoys painting a variety of different colorful subjects from representational to non-representational to landscapes. He considers Rufino Tamayo, Kusama Yayoi, Franz Kline and Okamoto (Art is an explosion!) Taro as his artistic influences.
